pandemicDory day 9 and beyond

I got lazy and fell behind with my updates. I've got the floor and transom installed. Still have a lot of work to do but I am making progress...oh and I got a new job today :-). Some pictures.

Started working on the floor. Didn't get far.

Bonding the two 3/4" pieces of meranti plywood to make the transom a bit thicker. The one I ripped out was 3/4". I am replacing with 1'1/2". Each piece has two coats of 105/207 epoxy resin. I bonded them today using a mix of 105/207 w/ colloidal silica after wetting with a thin coat of 105/207.

Made some progress with the transom today. I used foam board and a piece of test plywood for a template. Once I had the template made I cut two 3/4" pieces of Meranti plywood. They are both curing with 105/207 West Systems Epoxy Resin. I will flip them over to do the other side next and probably end up using multiple coats.

More cleanup work today. I made good progress on the hull. I'll spend the next few days cleaning up the transom skin and preparing for new meranti plywood flooring and transom.
